Currier & Ives used a number of artists to create popular lithographs such as this. The popular publisher created over 7,000 lithographs and printed millions of affordable copies. The Yacht Norseman was a famous sailing yacht built by the Poillon Brothers in Brooklyn, New York. This chromolithograph was published ca. 1882 by Currier & Ives (LC-DIG-pga-00985).
