The Battle of Missionary Ridge, or the Battle of Chattanooga, was fought November 25, 1863, during the Civil War. The scene shows the Union attack on Confederate lines during the second battle of Missionary Ridge. Note the insert of a McCormick harvesting machine. This chromolithograph was published ca. 1886 by Cossack & Company (LC-DIG-pga-00539).
