This oil on canvas painting was created ca. 1832 by American portrait artist Henry Inman (1801-1846). Kish-Kallo-Wa fought in several battles and later signed the Treaty of St. Louis in 1817, trading Shawnee land for territory in Kansas and money. (Smithsonian)
