Snow monkeys live in Japan and can tolerate frigid temperatures due to their thick grayish brown fur. However, they love to bathe in natural hot spring areas to keep warm in the winter. These omnivores eat plants, fruits, insects, and even bark or soil if hungry enough. They are very sociable and live in troops of 10-100 monkeys.
