Ocelots are found in North and South America from southern Texas to northern Argentina. Their spotted coats are great camouflage, helping them to sleep safely and hunt successfully. Ocelots are about twice the size of a house cat. They are nocturnal animals, using their sharp eyes and hearing to hunt small animals such as rabbits or birds.
