Komodo Dragons on the Loose
Komodo dragons, the largest and heaviest lizards on Earth, are as long as 10 feet and may weigh over 300 pounds. Only found on a few Indonesian islands, these powerful carnivores use their sharp teeth, strong claws, and venom to hunt prey from deer and wild pigs to water buffalo and even smaller Komodo dragons. Their bite delivers a powerful venom that sends their prey into shock. Female Komodo dragons can reproduce asexually.
