Elephant on the Move
Elephants are the largest land animals and live in Africa and Asia. They are known for their high intelligence and social structures (family groups led by a matriarch). Their most distinctive features are their trunks, used to breathe, drink, grasp, and communicate; and their ears, used to regulate body temperature. Both males and females have tusks.
NOTE: Some images are valuable historical records. To preserve their original condition, we have presented them as captured; their resolution may not be optimal for modern displays.
