Mama Leopard and Cub

Leopards are solitary, nocturnal big cats known for their special camouflage—dark spots called rosettes. They can be found in forests, mountains, and even deserts in Sub-Saharan Africa, northeast Africa, Central Asia, India, and China. Leopard mothers are most protective of their cubs and keep them by their side for nearly two years. They move them around frequently to keep them safe from other predators, even rival male leopards.
