World Series Bleacher Seats
This photo shows baseball fans lining up for World Series bleacher seats at Yankee Stadium. The 1923 World Series was held in the recently opened Yankee Stadium, a venue nicknamed “The House that Ruth Built.” It was the New York Yankees’ first championship, trouncing their rivals, the New York Giants, in six games. The photograph was published in 1923 by Bain News Service.
