This photograph shows Philadelphia Athletics players standing in front of a dugout. They are, from left to right: Billy Orr, Herb Pennock, Weldon Wyckoff, Joe Bush, Bob Shawkey, and Amos Strunk. That year, the Athletics were widely seen as the worst team in American League history. Better years were ahead! The photograph was published April 11, 1916.
