Tagging Out at Home
This photograph shows Philadelphia Athletics player Edmund “Bing” Miller (1894-1966) as he is tagged out at home plate by Washington Nationals catcher Herold Dominic "Muddy" Ruel (1896-1963) during a baseball game. Miller was an outfielder for the team, playing in 124 games with a .342 batting average. The photograph was published in 1925.
