These raptors are master fishermen with a reversible outer toe, transparent third eyelid to help them see underwater, and spiny pads on their feet for gripping slippery prey. Fish make up to 99 percent of their diet. They are large with wingspans up to 6 feet and can be found near bodies of water on every continent except Antarctica.
