Young White-Bellied Sea Eagle
Juvenile white-bellied sea eagles are mostly brown and gradually come into adult coloration during their first four or five years, acquiring a white head, breast, and tail. This large bird of prey is found in coastal and large waterway areas from India and Sri Lanka through Southeast Asia to Australia. Australian indigenous people revere this bird and have many folk tales about it in their cultural history.
