Little Owls, Perching Together
The little owl is one of several kinds of “small owls.” It lives in the farmland, orchards, and steppes across Europe, northern Africa, and central Asia. It hunts during the day, especially at dawn and dusk, for small mammals, insects, frogs, and lizards. Its large eyes cannot move, but it is able to rotate its head up to 270 degrees to look around.
