"Confederate Camp" during the Late American War
This artwork was created by English artist Louis Zimmer (1888-1970) and shows an encampment of Confederate soldiers, along with three slaves, set up during the late Civil War. The soldiers worked during their spare time, sometimes ran drills, and often played cards. This chromolithograph was published ca. 1871 by M & N Hanhart (LC-DIG-pga-07025).
