Cowgirls
These women dressed in cowgirl clothes that include ten-gallon hats, boots, and embroidered dresses, are identified as: Ber Kirnan, Prairie Rose, Mable Strickland, Princess Mohawk, Ruth Roach, Kittie Canutt and Prairie Lillie. The bleachers behind them suggest they may have played a role in a rodeo. Photographed in 1921 by Ralph Russell Doubleday, hand tinted by Stanley R. Waine.
