This park visitor stops to enjoy the spectacular view of Yellowstone’s Grand Canyon from an overlook aptly named Artist Point. The Grand Canyon is a 22-mile chasm cut up to 1200 feet deep by the powerful coursing of the Yellowstone River. Photographed in 1881 by F. Jay Haynes, hand tinted by Stanley R. Waine.
