Old Faithful Geyser and People

$48.00 USD
Size: 18x24
Material: Rolled Gloss Photographic Paper (Unlaminated)

The spectacular eruption of the park’s most famous geyser, Old Faithful, has always thrilled Yellowstone visitors. The geyser was named for its consistency of eruption by members of the Washburn Expedition in 1870. Its pattern of eruption is as predictable now as it was a century ago. Photographed ca. 1884 by F. Jay Haynes, hand tinted by Stanley R. Waine.
