Lower Falls from Red Rock
Red Rock Point offers Ed Wilson, a well-known civilian scout for the U.S. Army, a spectacular winter view of the Lower Falls cascading into Yellowstone’s Grand Canyon. Red Rock point is on the north rim of the canyon, a 500-foot trek downward from Lookout Point. Photographed in 1887 by F. Jay Haynes, hand tinted by Stanley R. Waine.
