Ketona, wearing an unusually large concho belt, was an important member of the Navajo tribe. Some form of silver jewelry or adornment is seen in almost all photographs of Navajo people, a longstanding and significant Navajo art form. Photographed ca. 1895 by Horace Swartley Poley.
