Harima Maiko Beach
This woodblock print portrays a location from Japan’s Harima Province and is part of a series called “Famous Places in the Sixty-odd Provinces.” It was created ca. 1853 by Japanese artist Utagawa Hiroshige (1797-1858), considered the last great master of ukiyo-e art or woodblock print.
