The title translates to “Hideyoshi and his Wives.” This woodblock print shows Toyotomi Hideyoshi having tea while attended to by his four wives at a cherry blossom party. The woodcut was created (with color) ca. 1805 by Japanese ukiyo-e artist Kitagawa Utamaro II (1789-1830). (Library of Congress, LC-DIG-jpd-00476)
