Herbert Lake in Banff National Park
Herbert Lake is a glacier-fed lake in the Canadian Rocky Mountains of Banff National Park, Canada’s oldest national park, located in the province of Alberta. The lake is located near the Icefields Parkway and is surprisingly warm for a glacier-fed lake, allowing for swimming in the summer. The mountain in the background, Mount Niblock, looms high at about 9,764 feet.
