Swordfish are among the fastest fish found in the Pacific, Atlantic, and Indian Oceans. They are known by their long, flat, pointed bills that look like swords but are actually bony extensions of their upper jaws. They don’t spear their prey with it but rather use it to slash out to stun or injure it.
