Turtle in Coral

$72.00 USD
Size: 24x32
Material: Rolled Gloss Photographic Paper (Unlaminated)

This hawksbill turtle is “gardening,” something they do frequently in coral reefs by using their narrow, pointy beaks to eat sponges. This actually helps keep the coral reef healthy, as the sponges grow prolifically and would otherwise smother the corals.

NOTE: Some images are valuable historical records. To preserve their original condition, we have presented them as captured; their resolution may not be optimal for modern displays.
