Infant Stars
Simply named NGC 602, this young, bright, open star cluster is located on the outer edge of the Small Magellanic Cloud, a satellite galaxy of the Milky Way. The young star cluster is embedded in a nebula called N90 and is about 200,000 light-years away from Earth. The cluster is surrounded by gas and dust. (Hubble Space Telescope)
