This poster with the phrase “I AM COMING” printed below William F. Cody’s portrait was a promotional piece for his famous Buffalo Bill’s Wild West show. The posters were distributed before the show came to a town to drum up business for a spectacular performance about to launch. This color lithograph was published ca. 1900 (LC-DIG-ppmsca-54877).
