This show poster was a promotional piece for William F. Cody’s famous Buffalo Bill’s Wild West show. It shows a group of American Indians leading an attack against pioneers in covered wagons as they traveled westward. The portrait in the right margin of the poster is of Buffalo Bill on horseback. This color lithograph was published ca. 1899 by the Courier Litho. Co. (LC-DIG-ppmsca-54873).
