This cover for the sheet music of the “Star Spangled Banner” was drawn by the famed Philadelphia lithographer James F. Queen (1820-1886). It shows a Union soldier proudly holding an American flag at a military camp. Behind are tents, a cannon, and rifles. This chromolithograph was published ca. 1861 by G. Andre & Co. (LC-DIG-pga-10370 ).
