This promotional circus poster billed this Sells Brothers show as “The Big Show of the World.” Further text offers scenes of the Roman Corso (Via del Corso in Rome, home of the riderless horse race until 1874) and Ben-Hur’s 4-Horse Roman Chariot Races. All were promised to be dangerous and thrilling! This color lithograph was printed ca. 1895 by Strobridge Litho. Co. (LC-DIG-ppmsca-55005).
