Wallace Shows, Bareback Rider
This promotional circus poster advertises one of the Great Wallace Shows’ most popular acts, performed during this 3-ring circus with two elevated stages. Robert Stickney, Jr., performed a back flip on a galloping horse under the watchful eye of a clown. The cameo portraits are of Stickney and the circus owner, B.E. Wallace. This color lithograph was printed ca. 1898 by Courier Litho Co. (LC-DIG-ppmsca-55021).
