Jack Farrell, 1888
This photograph shows an Old Judge baseball card portrait of John A. “Jack” Farrell (1857-1914), also known as “Moose.” This American Major League baseball player played for the Washington Statesmen at this time. He played baseball for 11 seasons, mainly as second baseman. He also played for the Syracuse Stars and the Baltimore Eagles during his career. The photograph was published ca. 1888.
