This photograph shows baseball brothers Emil F. “Irish” (NY Giants) and Robert “Bob” Meusel (NY Yankees) talking together on October 10, 1923, despite playing for rival New York Teams. The outfielders faced each other in three World Series, much to the amazement of their parents. The photograph was published in 1923 by Bain News Service.
