This photograph shows George Herman "Babe" Ruth, Ernest G. "Ernie" Shore, George "Rube" Foster, and Dellos "Del" Gainer sitting on a wall in front of a dugout in Boston Red Sox uniforms. Ruth and Shore had a rocky relationship beginning in spring training. Shore complained and was transferred. The photograph was published ca. 1916.
