New York vs. Boston
This group portrait was taken on April 29, 1886, when the New York Giants hosted the Boston Beaneaters (later the Braves) on Baseball Opening Day at the original Polo Grounds (5th Avenue and 100th St., New York City). The Giants won the game with a score of 5-4. Note the attitude of the Boston player in the back row on the left. The photo was taken in 1886.
