This photograph captured baseball hitter and pitcher George Herman "Babe" Ruth (1895–1948) with admiring fans in Yankee Stadium. Babe Ruth left the Boston Red Sox in 1920 and was playing with the New York Yankees (NY AL) at this time. Babe Ruth is famously said to have then led them to numerous pennants and World Series titles. The photograph was created in 1921 by Bain News Service.
