This photograph shows the exterior of Forbes Field, a baseball stadium in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It opened on June 30, 1909, and was considered the finest ballpark in the country at the time because of its size and innovation. It was the home of the Pittsburgh Pirates for 61 seasons. The photograph was published ca. 1909.
