Congress of National Dancing Girls
This promotional poster features the “Congress of National Dancing Girls” who could be seen from the midway at the Elk’s Street Fair and Carnival. Beautiful women were pictured in costumes from around the world to attract crowds. The poster promised an evening of dancing in various national styles. This color lithograph was created ca. 1899 by Courier Litho. Co. (LC-DIG-ppmsca-55113).
