The Musketeers
This promotional theater poster features Paul Gilmore (1873-1962), an American stage and silent film actor who starred in a stage production of “The Musketeers” in Phoenix, Arizona. He was one of three actors who were critically wounded by live rounds that had been accidentally loaded into a stage pistol during this play. This color lithograph was created ca. 1899 by A.S. Seer Print. (Call No. POS - TH - 1899 .M88, no. 1).
