Kudu Antelope in All Its Glory
Kudu antelopes live in southern Africa. They are one of the tallest antelopes (up to 700 pounds in weight) and known for their impressive spiraling horns (found on males) and reddish-brown (to blue-gray) white-striped coats. Males also have a mane running along their neck or back. These herbivores are browsers and eat leaves, shoots, fruits, and flowers from different trees and shrubs.
