$72.00 USD
Size: 24x32
Material: Rolled Gloss Photographic Paper(Unlaminated)

As the name suggests, these owls nest and roost in burrows they have dug out themselves or “borrowed” from other animals in prairies, grasslands, and deserts. These opportunistic carnivores mostly eat large insects and small mammals. They are known for their head bobbing, a movement which helps them figure out the distance to threats or prey.

NOTE: Some images are valuable historical records. To preserve their original condition, we have presented them as captured; their resolution may not be optimal for modern displays.
