These nocturnal ocean invertebrates have big claws and eight legs. They hunt at night for fish, crabs, and clams. They live at the bottom of the ocean and hide in rocks and weeds. They can live for up to 50 years. Female lobsters lay thousands of eggs at a time; the eggs stay attached to their mother until they hatch.
