The image shows the tiered, blue-green travertine pools of Beaver Falls, which are part of the Havasu Creek system located within the Havasupai Indian Reservation in the Grand Canyon, Arizona. The word Havasupai translates to “The People of Blue-Green Water.” Passes to hike the challenging route to the falls must be obtained from the tribe.
