This stunning landscape shows Lake Carezza (Lago di Carezza), a small lake in the Dolomites, a mountain range located in the Eastern Alps of northern Italy. Because of the lake’s color, it has been nicknamed the "Rainbow Lake" due to a local legend about a sorcerer who was rejected by a water nymph and so smashed a rainbow into the water.
