This print shows the New York Harbor in 1887 with the Brooklyn Bridge spanning the background. Construction on the Brooklyn Bridge began in 1869 and was completed in 1883. The original art was painted by artist Andrew Melrose (1836-1901). The chromolithograph was published ca. 1885 by Raphael Tuck & Sons (LC-DIG-pga-03360).
