This oil-on-card was mounted on paperboard, created in 1835 by American artist George Catlin (1796-1872). Its full title was “Three Celebrated Ball Players - Choctaw, Sioux and Ojibbeway.” The three native men were Tul-lock-chísh-ko (Choctaw), Wee-chush-ta-dóo-ta (Sioux), and Ah-nó-je-nahge (Ojibwe).
