This watercolor painting on paper was mounted on fiberboard. It was created ca. 1900 by Italian artist Cesare Pravaggi (19th century). This painting shows a mother and children at bathtime. She is ready to dip the baby in the bathwater, just as a young sibling dips her foot in the water. (Smithsonian)
