This open star cluster, named NGC 346, is a star nursery in the Small Magellanic Cloud, a dwarf galaxy in the southern constellation Tucana that neighbors our own Milky Way galaxy. Here, thousands of baby stars are developing. Note the glowing pink nebula that provides the raw material for the formation of these new stars. (Hubble Space Telescope)
