The Dusty Galaxy

$72.00 USD
Size: 24x32
Material: Rolled Gloss Photographic Paper (Unlaminated)

Also known as NGC 1316 or Fornax A, the Dusty Galaxy is so named because of the many blobs of cosmic dust that are hidden inside this giant elliptical galaxy. This celestial body is about 62 million light-years away. The dust lanes and star clusters of the Dusty Galaxy show that it was formed from a union of two gas-rich galaxies. (Hubble Space Telescope)
