The Tadpole Galaxy
The Tadpole Galaxy, also known as UGC 10214 or Arp 188, is located 468.4 million light-years from Earth. Located in the northern constellation of Draco, it is a disrupted barred spiral galaxy, a spiral galaxy that has been changed in a gravitational disruption or collision with another galaxy. Note the Tadpole’s tail of stars. (Hubble Space Telescope)
